Kids at Hope
At Hope Covenant Church, we believe in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for children of all ages. Our programing is designed to make your child's experience at our church engaging, fun, and educational. We're excited to share the options we have available for children and youth:
Creative Play Space in the Sanctuary
We embrace the joyful chaos that children bring to our community.
In the back of our sanctuary, you'll find tables filled with art supplies and toys. Don't worry about noise – we welcome it!
Children are encouraged to explore their creativity and play during the service, making our church a place where families can worship and grow together.
Nursery for Ages 0-4
For our youngest members, ages 0-4, we have a dedicated nursery with a variety of fun toys and activities.
Our nursery attendant, Stephanie, is simply amazing. She wins over EVERY KID. She provides a safe and nurturing space for your little ones, with coloring, books, building blocks, and more.
You can attend the service knowing that your child is in good hands.
(Also, if you want to help your child adjust to this new space by staying in the nursery WITH them, you are totally welcome to do that as well!)
Sunday School for Ages 5-10
Our Sunday School program for kids is designed to provide a progressive and adaptive curriculum.
Children are guided through a curriculum that encourages critical thinking and exploration of faith. We incorporate crafts, stories, games and lots of other hands on activities.
We're committed to creating a nurturing space where they can ask questions and engage with their faith in meaningful ways.
Jr. High Confirmation
For middle schoolers, we offer a unique opportunity for growth and exploration with Pastor Jon.
From 8:45 am to 9:45 am before the main service, they dive into scripture. They are currently going through the whole New Testament in 6 months.
Through engaging audio readings and Jon's expertise in placing the text in historical context, your child will gain a deeper understanding of the scriptures in a way that resonates with them as middle schoolers.
